Take a Closer Look at the Difference Between All-on-4 and Traditional Dental Implants
The All-on-4 dental implant technique is a method of securing a full denture. All-on-4 is similar to traditional implants in the way they function. The difference between traditional implants and All-on-4 dental implants comes down to the number of implants used. Traditional implants require around 6-8 implants inserted into the jaw per arch. The All-on-4 system inserts the implants at an angle to maximize their contact with the bone, requiring fewer implants.
With the All-on-4 method, only four implants are required to hold an entire full-arch denture, which patients receive on the same day.

Your New Smile Can Be Affordable We Take Insurance and Financing!
The price for All-on-4 dental implants ranges from $18,000 to $22,000, depending on the type of material used to make the denture. Some patients may need more than four implants to support their denture, which can also affect cost. We can discuss your unique needs during your free consultation and provide a price estimate.
While traditional dentures are usually covered by insurance, most insurance companies won't cover the cost of dental implants. However, we offer financing solutions, like CareCredit®, to help patients budget the cost in monthly payments.

All-on-4 Dental Implant FAQ
Can I eat after getting All-on-4 implants?
Yes! We offer functional same-day restorations to make the process quick and convenient for our patients. We recommend starting with soft foods as you gradually return to your favorite meals.
How do I take care of my implants and denture?
You can care for your dental implants and implant-supported restoration as you would care for natural teeth. Brush twice a day using a nonabrasive toothpaste and use mouthwash once a day to keep bacteria to a minimum. Our McKinney office also recommends using a floss threader or another dental appliance to remove bacteria from under your denture.
What if I need more than four implants?
We can still help you. Using the All-on-X method, we can use as many implants as it takes to firmly secure your denture in place. Our McKinney dentist will give you an estimate during your consultation.
