All-ON-4
DENTAL IMPLANTS
Are you struggling with discomfort from removable dentures? Have been told you don’t qualify for traditional implant-supported dentures?
Patients with bone loss are eligible for All-on-4® dental implants, which provide the support and stability you're looking for in a denture.
Summit Point Dental Implant Center in McKinney, TX, can place All-on-4 dental implants and a temporary denture in just one visit.
Take a Closer Look at the Difference Between All-on-4 and Traditional Dental Implants
The All-on-4 dental implant technique is a method of securing a full denture. They are similar to traditional implants in the way they function. Dental implants are titanium screws inserted into the jawbone. Your dentures will eventually be fastened to these implants to stay in place.
The difference between traditional implants and All-on-4 dental implants comes down to the number used. Traditional implants require around 6-8 posts inserted straight in the jaw per arch. The All-on-4 system inserts the implants at an angle to maximize their contact with the bone, requiring fewer implants.
With the All-on-4 method, only four implants are required to hold an entire full-arch denture, which patients receive on the same day.
Benefits of All-on-4 Implants
No Preparatory Procedures
Nearly anyone can benefit from All-on-4 implants, no matter the state of their jaw. Traditional implants need to be supported by dense jawbone tissue. If you've experienced jawbone atrophy due to tooth loss, you'll need preparatory procedures like bone grafts and sinus lifts before traditional implants are placed. Patients who've sustained jaw atrophy can get All-on-4 implants without preparatory procedures.
Spend Less
Skipping preparatory procedures already saves you a ton of time and money. On top of this, the cost of All-on-4 implants is often less than traditional implants because only four implants are inserted per full arch. Implants are priced individually, so cutting down the number used will also reduce the price you pay.
Streamlined Results
Whether you pick traditional implants or All-on-4, the process will take more than one appointment. However, All-on-4 treatment can be accomplished in fewer visits. Steps that would take several appointments for traditional implants can be boiled down to a single visit with All-on-4. Since you won't have any preparatory procedures, our dentist, Dr. Sasan Khodabakhsh, can insert the implants and provide a new set of implant-supported dentures right away.

Cost of All-on-4 Dental Implants
The price for All-on-4 dental implants ranges from $18,000 to $22,000, depending on the type of material used to make the denture. Some patients may need more than four implants to support their denture, which can also affect cost. We can discuss your unique needs during your free consultation and provide a price estimate.
While traditional dentures are usually covered by insurance, most insurance companies won't cover the cost of dental implants. However, we offer financing solutions, like CareCredit®, to help patients budget the cost in monthly payments.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I eat after getting All-on-4 implants?
Yes! We offer functional same-day restorations to make the process quick and convenient for our patients. We recommend starting with soft foods as you gradually return to your favorite meals.
How do I take care of my implants and denture?
You can care for your dental implants and implant-supported restoration as you would care for natural teeth. Brush twice a day using a nonabrasive toothpaste, and use mouthwash once a day to keep bacteria to a minimum. Our McKinney office also recommends using a floss threader or another dental appliance to remove bacteria from under your denture.
What if I need more than four implants?
We can still help you. Using the All-on-X method, we can use as many implants as it takes to firmly secure your denture in place. Our McKinney dentist will give you an estimate during your consultation.
